How Does a Windshield Repair Work?

When you have a windshield rock chip, it's important to get it repaired as soon as possible. Not only can a rock chip be unsightly, but it can also weaken the structural integrity of your windshield, making it more prone to cracking or shattering in the future. This is where Revive Windshield Repair can help.

At Revive Windshield Repair, we specialize in fast and efficient rock chip repairs that can be done in less than 10 minutes at our convenient red pop-up tent locations. Our expert technicians use a special UV-cured acrylic resin to fill in the chip and restore the structural integrity of your windshield.

Here's how the process works:

  1. Our technician will clean the area around the chip, drill into the first later of the glass.

  2. The technician will then use a special tool to inject the resin into the chip, filling in the damaged area and the trapped air underneath.

  3. The technician will use the injector to put the damage through a series of pressure and suction cycles to ensure all of the trapped air is gone.

  4. The technician will remove the injector and apply a pit resin that is cured with ultraviolet light.

The end result is a repair that not only looks great, but also restores the structural integrity of your windshield. This means that your windshield will be less likely to crack or shatter in the future, which is important for your safety as well as your wallet.
